Courtroom Victory, Clean Rolls, and You
What a week it has been! In case you missed it, on Tuesday, we won our lawsuit against Stacey Abrams, Marc Elias, Fair Fight, and the DOJ. This lawsuit had been ongoing since 2020. The main issue was whether citizens have the right to lawfully petition their government in support of election integrity without facing persecution or prosecution. In a resounding victory, we successfully defended our actions from December 2020, where we assisted Georgia citizens in filing challenges to electors based on data that revealed over 364,000 ineligible records in the voter rolls. Here's a quick recap of the situation. Thank you for your ongoing support in this fight that has spanned multiple years!
The federal court’s ruling sent a clear message to those who would attempt to control the course of our nation through lawfare and intimidation. American citizens will not be silenced.
So what comes next? First things first, clean voter rolls are a non-negotiable. We have a plan, a platform, and a process.
Monday night, January 8th, at 7p et, I’ll be back on air with the Onward podcast, where we’ll talk about the implications of our landmark win - and how you can get involved in cleaning up your voter rolls. It’s one step of many we need to take between now and November. Please join us if you can.
I know you understand what is at stake in 2024. It’s not enough to say this is a big election. This is for something more than a candidate, more than names on a ballot. This is for the soul of our country. Just voting will not be enough.
And, if you are in a position to help us financially, we need all the support we can muster. Our plans include large scale projects, open source support, continuing to fight for justice in the courts, and working with teams across the country to lay critical groundwork for trustworthy elections.
True the Vote has spent the past three years preparing for the next ten months. We are battle hardened and ready. It’s time to get busy.
Never quit. Keep the faith. Together we can do anything.
Ever onward-
