Not Every Number Tells the Truth
Hi Friend, Election Day is behind us. The questions? Not so much. Right now your feed is full of screenshots, charts and “proof.” Some of those numbers are real, but some of the conclusions people draw from them often aren’t. Don't fall into any traps. A real number with the wrong story attached does more damage than no number at all which burns credibility that's hard to get back. In our post-Election Day livestream, Catherine and I talked about the aftermath, what we observed, what we’re currently watching, and where we go from here. ▶ WATCH: The Aftermath — TTVN Live, Episode 30 We're going to keep doing what we've always done: analyzing the data, pursuing the facts, and building the tools Americans need to take an active role in the process, just as our system of self-government was designed to work. Your next assignment: Check. Take a few minutes to look up your voter record and your voting history. If you saw something unusual, ran into a problem, or found a discrepancy, tell us.
The questions are rolling in. Good. Questions are where this work begins, but facts are what move it forward. Thank you for standing with us. God bless you, and God bless America! Ever onward —
“The Lord answered Moses, 'Am I not strong enough? Now you will see whether what I say will come true for you.'” -Numbers 11:23 |
