REUTERS REPORT UNDERSCORES NEED FOR CITIZENS TO ASSIST WITH SIGNATURE VERIFICATION

Reuters reported that only approximately 29 counties out of 3243 counties and county equivalents nationwide use signature scanning software. 

The fact is the best software we have in every county is an engaged citizenry ready to assist with signature verification. 

"U.S. election officials trying to deliver speedy results with limited staff have increasingly turned to software that matches signatures on ballot envelopes to voter records. At least 29 counties across eight states use the artificial intelligence technology on mail-in ballots to ease the workload of staff enforcing voter signature rules."
