Stop the Spread (It's not what you think)
Hi Friend, Something is spreading across America, and it isn’t just political division. It’s a shrug. It’s the text from a friend that says, “What’s the point?” It’s the neighbor who’s “sitting this one out.” It’s the quiet belief that the outcome is already decided and showing up is a waste of time. In 2020, Americans were told: Trust the system. Stop asking questions. In 2026, the message is: Why bother voting at all? Different messages — same destination: Surrender. Yeah...we don't do that. For years, we’ve urged Americans to ask hard questions, examine the records, learn election law, and hold officials accountable. None of that matters if we give up the one responsibility that belongs to every eligible voter: Showing up. Stop the Spread. VOTE. Let's take their viral (no pun intended) message and use it for good.
America is worth showing up for. Not because everything is perfect, or because every question has been answered. It’s because a republic can’t preserve itself. It requires participation. Watch this short video. Send it to someone who’s discouraged. Remind them that sitting out doesn’t fix what’s broken. Your assignment: Seven people. The people you know won’t be moved by one more political ad. They might be moved by you. A text from a friend boosts turnout 8.3 points. A mass campaign text? Less than half a point. In 2024, 187 votes decided a House seat. Your seven matter. That’s why we built 7Votes.org:
It takes about three minutes. It’s free and nonpartisan. You don’t have to persuade strangers. You just have to reach seven people who already trust you. Wyoming and Hawaii: We need you! Forty-eight states are lit up with TTV citizens learning together, sharing information, and strengthening their communities. Two are still dark: Wyoming. Hawaii.
If you live in either state, raise your hand. If you know someone who does, send them our way. Let’s finish the map.
Here’s what to do next:
Election Day is 12 days away. The clock is running, and the answer isn’t another argument. It’s action. Fear can be contagious, but courage spreads the same way: one person, one conversation, one invitation at a time. Stop the spread. Start with seven. God bless you, and God bless America. Ever onward —
"As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today." - Genesis 50:20 |
