The TTV Weekly Wrap Up

Two hundred and fifty years ago, the Continental Congress did something you might think would be hard to see happening today — they called for a national day of prayer, fasting, and repentance. The country was scared. Things were going sideways. The future was anything but certain. And just weeks after that call... fifty-six men signed the Declaration of Independence anyway.

Now, we're in our own version of that moment. Just this week, governors called special sessions over redistricting and election law, and a new investigation surfaced non-citizens on the DHS "Worst of the Worst" criminal list who are also active voters. The noise is constant. But that same kind of national call is going out again. This Sunday marks the National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving on the National Mall, and our team will be there for the Rededicate 250 gathering in Washington, D.C. — a moment to pray, to give thanks, and to think hard about how each of us is called to serve God and Country in the year ahead.

We'll share stories and pictures in next week's wrap-up. For now, here are a few headlines worth checking out.

Keep the faith. Never quit,

Lead From Where You Stand

The Bottom Line

The biggest decisions shaping the country are often made long before most people hear about them. Committee hearings, court rulings, rule changes, redistricting battles, and administrative decisions quietly determine how elections are run, how representation is structured, and how power moves for years afterward.

That’s why citizen engagement matters now - not just every four years. Transparency requires attention. Accountability requires participation. And lasting change requires people willing to stay informed even when the headlines move on.

The good news: Americans across the country are waking up, getting involved locally, asking better questions, and refusing to hand over the future of their communities without a voice. Americans are remembering where we came from and what we're fighting for.

What You Can Do

  1. Read about Rededicate 250. Learn why Americans are gathering in Washington, D.C. exactly 250 years after the Continental Congress issued a national call to prayer and fasting during the Revolutionary War.
  2. Follow redistricting developments. States across the country are revisiting congressional maps and election procedures that could shape representation for years to come.

  6. Pray for wisdom, courage, and discernment. No matter where you stand politically, this is a defining moment for the country — and for the people entrusted with stewarding it.

Grounded in Truth

A weekly word from the TTV team. Want one every day? Join us in TTV Now.

Father, Thank You for calling us back to Yourself even after all our drifting, distractions, and pride. Thank You for being gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. Thank You for awakening hearts across this nation and reminding us that no earthly system, political movement, or human effort can restore what only You can heal. Only You can bring dead things back to life. Only You can restore hearts, families, communities, and our nation.

Father, we ask that You continue stirring Your Church awake. Remove complacency, fear, distraction, and passiveness from Your people. Fill us with boldness, discernment, humility, and a hunger for Your presence. Help us to stand firmly in truth, carry the Gospel courageously, and shine brightly in a world filled with darkness.

And Father, we lift up the rededication of our nation to You this Sunday in Washington, DC. We pray over every person gathering there and every heart that will be seeking You. We ask that Your presence would move powerfully among the people and the nation. Break spiritual strongholds, soften hardened hearts, and awaken people to the truth that revival begins by returning to You.

Let this not simply be a moment, but the beginning of lasting transformation. Raise up a bold and awakened Church that carries Your light into darkness as we advance Your Kingdom on the ground.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
