Good afternoon, !Straight out of the gate I want to thank you for your past support of True the Vote. We could not stay standing without you. The email you see below was sent out to our national following - but, I wanted to give you the "behind the scenes" scoop.In the past few months, we've made huge strides in many of the legal entanglements that have dogged us for years. Days ago, we won an ethics violation case that was filed against us in 2010. We are weeks away from finally closing the case that was filed against us, also in 2010, by the Texas Democrat Party (which went all the way to the Texas Supreme Court - where we won). The only remaining outlier is our case against the IRS. We are waiting for the Judge to render a decision on our petition for attorney's fees - and while we believe we should win the petition, the DOJ is fighting tooth and nail against us.Our goal is to raise $500,000 as quickly as possible, using 20% to retire a portion of our legal debt and 80% going straight into True the Vote operations. There's a critical need for election integrity training and ground game support in the 2018 elections. We are working on new training videos and preparing local teams for what they will face this November. Your past generosity has helped us continue to fight the good fight for free and fair elections.
