News reported by Politico’s Laura Barrón-López reveals that a lack of volunteers is casting serious doubt on ballot box integrity in Nevada’s primary.

“[Nevada State Democratic Party] officials are telling campaign representatives that there’s a deficit of volunteers across the state, and so they are asking representatives of campaigns to act as precinct chairs,” Barrón-López stated on Twitter on Saturday afternoon.

Representatives of the various campaigns are not the people we need guarding voter integrity! This is why True the Vote urges citizens from the entire political spectrum to volunteer at polling places. Let’s take this incident in Nevada as a sign that we will encounter many similar situations if we don’t step up.

Even on the afternoon of the Nevada caucus, many volunteers had still failed to show up.

I urge you to find a friend or two and connect with us at TrueTheVote.org. Our upcoming trainings can equip you to work at the polls in your precinct to ensure voter integrity.
