Charged with attempt to influence, forgery of public record and perjury. Pleaded guilty to attempt to influence a public servant and received deferred sentence of 2 years. Gonzalez of Paterson; Juana A. Gil of Paterson; Octavio A. Dominguez of Elmwood Park; Dalila Rodriguez of Paterson, Wilson A. Torres of Paterson, and Loudes Inoa of Paterson were charged with third-degree voter fraud and third-degree tampering with public records. Jose Ramon Ruiz of Prospect Park, Inocencio Jimenez of Paterson; Lucia A. Guzman of Paterson; Ana Vely-Gomez of Paterson; and Belkis M. Cespedes of Paterson were arrested on charges of second- and third-degree voter fraud and third-degree tampering with public record. Ricardo A. Fermin-Cepeda of Paterson, was charged with second- and third-degree voter fraud and third-degree tampering with public records but is currently a fugitive. The defendants all allegedly acted as bearers/messengers for mail-in (absentee) ballots. Connecticut Shannon Nygard 2008-11 Registration Fraud Ineligible district voting 1 A complaint was made that Richard Murray, Neill Bovaird, Kelly Way, Nancy Pilon, Janelle Rooks, M. Samantha Geiger, Amy Bovaird, Peter Nygard, Shannon Nygard and Angela Harwood were registered and in some cases voted in a place where they did not reside. An Election Commission investigation found that the defendants had registered in good faith with the belief that they did reside in the district in which they registered. The Commission found that had the Registrar's office been more thorough and done their due diligence, it would have found that the addresses provided were not within the required district and the voter registrations/voting would not have occurred. Admitted that he sold his vote in 1996 for $500. Charged with accepting money for voting.
