Florida Zakee Fur'qan (fka Leon Edward Nelson) M Multiple D 2015-08 Ineligible felon voting Registration fraud 3 6 Zakee Fur'qan illegally voted multiple times after his civil rights had been revoked because of a past felony conviction. Fur'qan, who changed his name from Leon Edward Nelson, was convicted of second-degree murder in Duval County in 1991. Fur'qan's voting history indicated that he registered as a Democrat on Sept. 2, 2004 and had voted six times since then, even though his civil rights had not been restored. He was charged with three counts ofillegally voting in 2014 and 2015. North Carolina Zahida Sultan Laghari (wife of city council candidate) Ahmed Sultan Laghari (former city council candidate) F 2011-09 2012-03 Ineligible district voting Registration fraud - ineligible district 1 Zahida Sultan Laghari was charged with using a false address as her official residence when voting for her husband, Ahmed Sultan Laghari, who was running for Statesville City Council. Her husband reportedly said they lived in an apartment inside Ward 4 city limits, but they also owned a home outside of Mooresville's town limits. Ohio Zachary McIntyre ResponsibleOhio 2015-07 Issue 3 referendum 2016-05 Registration fraud 1 0 Zachary McIntire was charged by the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office with false voter registration, a fifth-degree felony, in connection with a larger scheme by legal marijuana petitioners to encourage petition signers and voter registrants to give fraudulent addresses. An investigation by the Secretary of State's office found that ResponsibleOhio and the Strategy Network’s petitions contained signatures of dead people, that they attempted to register people under fake addresses, and that there were voter registration forms that were forged and completed by someone other than the registrant. Utah Zachary B. Millett M 2006-11 Daggett County Sheriff 2008-03 Registration Fraud 1 Zachary B. Millett was accused along with 50 other people in Utah's Daggett County, in connection with a 2006 election for sheriff. All 51 were accused of fraudulent registration, and many were accused of living outside the county but registering to vote within the county. Ohio Yolanda Hippensteele Amy Little Daniel "Tate" Hausman F 2008 General D Ineligible district voting Absentee/Mail 1 1 Yolanda Hippensteele (California native, staff member for Vote Today Ohio, and out-of-state campaigner for Barak Obama) was one of several people who came to Franklin County, Ohio, registered to vote after 30 days and voted, eventhough she did not intend to remain a resident of the county and state. She and her co-defendants chose to vote in Ohio over their home states, because Ohio is a swing state and Obama was expected to easily win in their home states. Charged with a violation under Title 35 of Ohio Code, casting an absentee ballot despite not meeting residency requirement. Pleaded guilty. Wisconsin Yadira Colon F 2008 2009 D 2009-11 Absentee/mail Ineligible district voting Petition fraud 4 1 Yadira Colón pleaded* no contest to two counts of election fraud for forging signatures on nomination papers for Pedro Colón, then a Democratic member of the Wisconsin Assembly from Milwaukee, in 2009. Colón, a Voces De La Frontera volunteer, was also charged with illegally registering to vote and casting an absentee ballot in Milwaukee in 2008, listing an address in the city when she in fact resided in Oshkosh at the time. Prosecutors agreed to drop two charges, and Colón pleaded no contest to two others. Circuit Judge Dennis Moroney sentenced Colón to the 16 days she already spent in jail for one count, and to six months - suspended - on the second, with the condition of a year's probation, which he allowed to be transferred to Florida. *Pea deal: 16 days in jail (time served), plus 6 months (suspended) and 1 year probation (transferred to Florida) http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/174211971.html

Convicted in 2010, but was granted a new trial and again convicted in 2014. Two years of community corrections.
