Texas Oralia Fausto Absentee Ballot Fraud Petition Fraud Oralia Fausto was reported to have been a part of a voting scheme with four others, where he illegally voted via mail-in ballot, as well as registered fake names to vote throughout Starr County, Texas. Fausto completed a pretrial diversion and the charges were dismissed.
New Jersey Edwin Cruz Samuel Gonzalez (husband of Teresa Ruiz) John Fernandez Gianine Narvaez Edwin Cruz Jonathon Kowalski Antonio Santana Joaquin Caceres Angel Colon Sorinette Rosario M 2007-11 General Assembly/State Senate (state Sen. Teresa Ruiz) D Absentee/mail Impersonation Forgery Jonathon Kowalski, John Fernandez, and Edwin Cruz were each charged with conspiracy (2nd degree), election fraud (2nd degree), absentee ballot fraud (3rd degree), tampering with public records or information (3rd degree), and forgery (4th degree). Kowalski works in fund-raising at the North Ward Center, and Cruz and Fernandez both work for the Essex County Department of Economic Development. Texas William Berntsen (former candidate for RUD board) M 2010-05 Woodlands Road Utility District 2012-03 Ineligible district voting Registration Fraud William Berntsen was one of seven voters indicted for voting outside their district. The group planned to vote in a district where they did not reside in order to elect three of their members to the board of directors of The Woodlands Road Utility District. The group illegally registered in the district by using the address of a hotel in the district as their home address of their voter registration application.
