New York Richard Saint Angel M 2005 Municipal 2006-01 Petition Fraud Forgery Richard Saint Angel was accused of filing 158 forged nominating petitions in an attempt to get on the 2005 ballot for the position of town supervisor in Poughkeepsie, New York. Charged with multiple counts of Perjury in the First Degree, Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree, Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree. Texas Oralia Fausto Absentee Ballot Fraud Petition Fraud Oralia Fausto was reported to have been a part of a voting scheme with four others, where he illegally voted via mail-in ballot, as well as registered fake names to vote throughout Starr County, Texas. Fausto completed a pretrial diversion and the charges were dismissed.
Illinois 2016-11 General Absentee/Mail Vote buying Kankakee officials announced an investigation into voter fraud, including allegations that “individuals from Chicago” were offering gifts in exchange for votes, and prompting a visit by the top federal attorney for central Illinois and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Illinois Attorney General’s office is also “actively monitoring” the situation. The probe is centered on a hotly contested race between Democratic State Rep. Kate Cloonen and her Republican challenger Lindsay Parkhurst. Ohio Cynthia McCloud F Registration Fraud Absentee/Mail 3 Cynthia McCloud was indicted on 3 counts: false registration, inducing illegal voting and an absentee voter's ballot violation. Pleaded guilty to false registration and inducing illegal voting for activites related to working on campaign of friend and candidate, John Saylor in his candidacy for councilman.
