Kentucky Tami Jo Risner Gary “Rooster” Risner Larry Shepherd Mason Daniels Scott McCarty F 2014 Primary, General D Vote buying Tami Jo Risner was convicted in federal court of conspiring to buy votes in the 2014 primary and general elections, along with her husband Gary “Rooster” Risner and chief deputy county court clerk Larry Shepherd. Co-defendant Scotty L. McCarty pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor vote-fraud charge and gave information to authorities. Unindicted co-conspirator Charles “Doc” Hardin allegedly put up money for vote buying in multiple elections from 2008 to 2014. New Hampshire Aaron Joseph Burns M 2008-11 General Registration Fraud Ineligible district voting The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office investigated Aaron Joseph Burns because he reportedly registered and voted for the first time on Election Day without photo identification, and the United States Post Office returned a verification letter sent to his address as undeliverable. His identity was later verified, according to a New Hampshire Attorney General's Office investigation. Texas Jose Picasso Salvador Vela 2010-05 Alton municipal Registration fraud Ineligible district voting Leading up to the 2010 Alton city election, 23 voters registered their residency at mayoral candidate Jose Picasso’s home on North Eagle Pass Street. In December 2012 two women were charged with illegal voting for falsely listing Picasso’s home as their residence to vote in the 2010 Alton election. Both were convicted. The city, which ran the 2010 election, found more than three dozen suspicious votes.
