Texas Election contest: Lon Burnam v. Ramon Romero Jr. 2014-03 Democratic primary D 2014-03 Election contest State Rep. Lon Burnam filed a lawsuit challenging his 111-vote primary election loss to Ramon Romero Jr. in March 2014.
