Iowa Jason Rawlin M 2012-08 Registration fraud - ineligible felon 1 Jason Rawlin, a convicted felon, pleaded* guilty to misdemeanor fraudulent practices after being charged with felony election misconduct for registering to vote in August 2012 while an ineligible felon. Under the state’s motor-voter program, license applicants are asked if they’d like to register to vote. Pennsylvania Robin Trainor Laura Murtaugh F 2014-05 Primary In person Impersonation Illegal assistance 2 2 Robin Trainor pleaded* guilty to two misdemeanor charges of voter impersonation fraud at the polls in the May 2014 primary. While serving as judge of a polling place, Trainor went inside a voting booth with her husband to “assist” him—that is, she told him whom to vote for. Trainor then stepped out, falsely signed the election register under her son’s name, reset the voting machine, and cast a vote in his name. Washington Robert Bretz M 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Ilinois Anthony M.Kimani 2004-11 General Non-citizen voting 1 Anthony M. Kimani, a Kenyan citizen, entered the United States in 2000 on a visitor’s visa, registered to vote in 2003 (after his visa had expired) claiming he was a U.S. citizen in a driver’s license application in Illinois, and illegally voted in the 2004 general election.
