Kentucky Michael Salyers M 2010 Breathitt County magistrate Vote buying 10 "When it comes to vote buying, it’s an everyday thing. ... It’s pretty much like jaywalking," admited former Breathitt County magistrate candidate Michael Salyers, who is serving time in jail for buying votes in his 2010 race. Salyers was given $500 and ended up buying about 10 votes. He would meet people seeking to sell their votes in the back room of a local store. "They would go into the machine and cast their vote...They were supposed to vote for me. They would come back to me and I would pay them for going to vote. Salyers says vote buying has been so blatant that, "you used to be able to go behind the voting machine with voters, to make sure that if you bought their vote, that they would vote the way you wanted to." 60 days in jail, 6 months home detention and 120 hours of community service. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/07/25/drug-money-funds-voter-fraud-in-kentu... https://www.fbi.gov/louisville/press-releases/2012/former-candidate-for-breathit...
Pennsylvania Voting Irregularities in Philadelphia County 2012 Primary (Schmidt Report) >Impersonation: Joseph Cheeseboro/Joseph Cheeseborough 2012-06 Primary Impersonation Non-citizen voting Multiple voting 1. Voting by non-registered individuals This type of voting irregularity occurs when an individual who is not registered to vote in Philadelphia at the time of an election casts a vote. Evidence in this report shows individuals who were not registered voters at the time of the 2012 primary, yet still cast votes included in the Certified Election Results. 2. Voting by individuals in the incorrect party’s Primary This type of irregularity is one of the most common irregularities that occur in Primary Elections in Philadelphia. A division in which all non-Democratic voters cast votes for candidates in the Democratic Primary is examined in this report. 3. Divisions with more votes than voters This type of voting irregularity occurs when more votes are cast on the Voting Machines than voters who showed up to the polls. We examined a division where either 6 unknown voters were able to vote without signing in, or at least one person voted more than once. 4. Voting by individuals in the incorrect legislative district This type of voting irregularity refers to voters casting votes on the Voting Machines in a legislative district that does not include the division in which the voter is registered. Examples of voters casting votes in districts other than their own are included in this report. 5. Individuals voting more than once This type of voting irregularity occurs when a voter is able to vote more than once in the same election. Evidence in this report confirms an example of an individual who voted twice, illegally in the 2012 Primary. 6. Voter impersonation This kind of voting irregularity occurs when one individual impersonates another and is able to vote in place of the person whose name appears in the Poll Book. This report contains evidence of one such example. 7. Voting by non-U.S. citizens In 2012 alone, the Philadelphia City Commissioners have already been made aware of 19 non-U.S. citizens registered to vote in Philadelphia County. Seven have voted in at least one election, as recently as the 2012 Primary. This report will examine three such examples. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27249508/Voting%20Irregularities%20Report.pd...

New Mexico Candidate petition challenge: Carlos Villanueva v. Jacob Candelaria (Southwest Political Services hired by Candelaria campaign) 2012 Democratic primary D Petition fraud Forgery 31 people responsible for collecting signatures to get Democrat Jacob Candelaria on the June 2012 ballot were named in a criminal investigation, accused of falsifying voter records and voter fraud. The Candelaria campaign said the suspects are former canvassers for a company called "Southwest Political Services". That company was paid by Candelaria's campaign to gather the needed 75 signatures to get his name on the ballot for the District 26 State Senate seat. A number of voters say they never signed the petition and that their signature was forged. At one household, a man found his name on the petition twice with two different style signatures and also found his wife's signature. "She never signed at all." Another voter said more of the same. "Not even the print is her handwriting," a woman said of what was supposedly her mother's signature. "And that is not even how you spell her name." At another address, a woman said the voter listed on the petition moved out years ago. The Bernalillo County District Attorney's Office said it was reviewing the case, and complaints were also files with the Secretary of State's Office and with state police concerning the forged signatures.
