Ohio Melowese Richardson F 2012-11 General D 2013-02 Multiple voting Impersonation 8 8 Melowese Richardson, a long-time Hamilton County poll worker charged with eight counts of illegal voting, pleaded* guilty and was sentenced to prison for five years. “This is not a little thing. It’s not a minor thing. This is what our country’s based on – free elections,” Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Ruehlman told Richardson. Richardson was a Hamilton County poll worker from 1998 until her arrest in 2013 when she was charged with eight counts of illegal voting. In May, she accepted a plea deal and was convicted of four counts in exchange for the other four being dismissed. Virginia Adam Ward M 2011-12 Republican primary R Petition fraud Forgery 36 0 Adam Ward pleaded* guilty to 36 counts of voter fraud and perjury after forging thousands of signatures on petitions to get Newt Gingrich on the ballot in Virginia’s 2012 presidential primary. Street was charged with 1 count of conspiracy to commit voter fraud and 2 counts of voter fraud in a vote buying scheme. Pleaded guilty to 2 counts of voter fraud. Florida Liltovia Rhodes F 2010 Registration fraud 55 In Miami, Florida, former ACORN voter registration canvassers Maurice Childress, Kashawn John, Liltovia Rhodes, Carlos Torres, Evangeline Williams, Lilkevia Williams, and Richard Williams, were all convicted of “false swearing in an election.” Accused of filing multiple voter registration applications with fictitious names and as the same individuals and registering ACORN canvassers to vote multiple times while working on an ACORN voter drive. Charges: 27 counts of false swearing in connection with voting or elections and 28 counts of submission of false voter registration information. California Ricardo Lopez-Munguia M 2008-11 General 2012 Non-citizen voting 3 1 Ricardo Lopez-Munguia, a Mexican who was deported decades ago for drug trafficking, pleaded* guilty to living illegally in Escondido under a false identity, making a false claim to U.S. citizenship, and fraudulently voting in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Lopez-Munguia assumed the identity of Gustavo Carranza-Madrigal, a U.S. citizen, and obtained a fraudulent California driver's license, a Social Security card and a U.S. passport.
