Texas Rolando Medrano Frank Medrano III Racquel Medrano Ricardo Medrano Sr. Sylvia Medrano Robert Edward Medrano Carlos Medrano M 2010-03 Democratic primary D 2011-09 Perjury 6 Rolando Medrano pleaded* guilty to two counts of aggravated perjury after being charged with six counts of perjury related to a voter fraud scheme in the 2010 Democratic primary involving six members of the Medrano family, one of Dallas County’s most influential Democratic families, and another associate, who were all indicted in the case. Connecticut Emmett J. McDonough (Democratic Registrar of Voters) M D 2002 Registration Fraud Petition Fraud McDonough, the registrar of voters, was accused of violating Sec. 9-410(c) by showing favoritism and having double standards when processing primary petitions. Wisconsin Paul Anthony Vargas M 2008-11 Registration Fraud Paul Anthony Vargas was accused of voter registration fraud, pleaded guilty and received a sentence of 1-year penitentiary, which was suspended, 1 year of probation and a fine. Washington Ryan Olson 2007-07 Registration Fraud 2 Felony charges were filed against 7 individuals who submitted about 1,800 registration cards on behalf of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. The organization agreed to keep a better eye on its employees and pay $25,000 to defray costs of the investigation. Ryan Olson was charged with 2 counts of providing false information on a voter registration, a felony.
