Wisconsin Troy A. Schiller M 2016-04 Primary 2016-07 Multiple voting 1 1 Troy Schiller was charged with felony voter fraud for voting twice in the April 2016 primary election, once in Pittsville where he was registered to vote, and once in Dexter where he voted via same day registration. Nevada Tina Marie Parks F 2016-06 Primary 2016-07 Registration fraud 11 0 Tina Marie Parks was charged with 11 felony counts for falsifiying party affiliations while registering voters on behalf of Engagae Nevada before the June 2016 Nevada primary. Parks was charged with four counts of perjury for allegedly signing four registration forms for herself on which she attests she had no felony conviction or other loss of civil rights that would make it unlawful for her to vote. Colorado Maureen Moss F 2016 Republican primary R 2016-06 Petition fraud Forgery 34 0 Maureen Moss, was charged with 34 felony counts of forging voters' signatures on a petition to get state Rep. Jon Keyser on the 2016 Republican primary ballot for U.S. Senate. Moss was working for Black Diamond Outreach at the time. Georgia Evelyn Griffin Olivia Pearson Charlie Mack Wooten James Curtis Hicks F 2012-11 General 2016-05 Illegal assistance Evelyn Griffin, Douglas Mayor Pro-Tem Olivia Pearson, Charlie Mack Wooten, and James Curtis Hicks were charged with voter fraud during the November 2012 General Election. An investigation conducted by the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office revealed that Pearson, Wooten, Hicks and Griffin illegally provided assistance to voters who were not physically disabled or illiterate. Ohio Zachary McIntyre ResponsibleOhio 2015-07 Issue 3 referendum 2016-05 Registration fraud 1 0 Zachary McIntire was charged by the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office with false voter registration, a fifth-degree felony, in connection with a larger scheme by legal marijuana petitioners to encourage petition signers and voter registrants to give fraudulent addresses. An investigation by the Secretary of State's office found that ResponsibleOhio and the Strategy Network’s petitions contained signatures of dead people, that they attempted to register people under fake addresses, and that there were voter registration forms that were forged and completed by someone other than the registrant. New Jersey Election contest: Mohammed Akhtaruzzaman v. Shahin Khalique 2016-05 Paterson municipal 2016-05 Election contest Absentee/Mail Ineligible district voting 7 Mohammed Akhtaruzzaman sued for a recount of the May 2016 Paterson council 2nd Ward election, which challenger Shahin Khalique won by just 19 votes, 1,400 to 1,381. Khalique had 1,009 mail-in votes while Akhtaruzzaman had 523. The number of mail ballots issued in the 2nd Ward almost doubled the total for the rest of the five wards combined. The recount increased Khalique's lead by one vote, to 20. Passaic County Superintendent of Elections Sherine El-Abd investigated allegations of mail-in voter fraud in the election and at the recount told the County Board of Elections her investigation uncovered seven confirmed incidents of mail-in voters who cast ballots but were not eligible to vote in the 2nd Ward. She said a minimum of 60 ballots were under question. Akhtaruzzaman’s campaign flagged 65 mail ballots as invalid. Ohio Rebecca Hammonds Ohio Organizing Collaborative F 2015 2016-05 Registration fraud Forgery 35 0 Rebecca Hammonds was indicted on 35 felony voter fraud charges - 32 counts of false voter registration and three counts of false signatures - as part of a scheme to create false voter registration documents for 35 people in Columbiana County in 2015. Georgia Olivia Pearson (city commissioner) Charlie Mack Wooten James Curtis Hicks Evelyn Griffin F 2012-11 General 2016-05 Illegal assistance Douglas Mayor Pro-Tem Olivia Pearson, Charlie Mack Wooten, James Curtis Hicks and Evelyn Griffin were charged with voter fraud during the November 2012 General Election. An investigation conducted by the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office revealed that Pearson, Wooten, Hicks and Griffin illegally provided assistance to voters who were not physically disabled or illiterate. The investigation also revealed that some poll workers failed to mark on some voter certificates the reason for assistance when Olivia Pearson assisted the voters.
