Illinois Kenneth Davison Jerry Knight M D 2008-08 Petition Fraud Perjury Forgery 11 Kenneth Davison and Jerry Knight were working for Democratic state Sen. Terry Link in 2007. Indictments alleged that both men forged signatures and included dead voters on the nominating petition. Charged with 9 counts of perjury and 2 counts of forgery. Pleaded guilty to nine counts of perjury for signing a sworn statement on petitions that signatures were legitimate. Washington Dennine Robertson F 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. West Virginia Ernest J. Stapleton (former commander of a Veterans of Foreign Wars post) M Ernest J. Stapleton was indicted with others for a conspiracy to control county government in Lincoln County by buying votes, keeping some supporters’ property taxes low, controlling county and state government jobs and rewarding supporters by ensuring their roads were repaired. Michigan Donald Joseph Disimone M 2000-11 General 2001 Multiple Voting 1 Donald Joseph Disimone was accused of casting two votes in the 2000 general election. The prosecution accused him of intentionally doing it. New Hampshire Mark Daniel Lacasse M 2004-01 Republican primary 2004 Impersonation 1 Mark Daniel Lacasse, age 17, was accused of voting using his father's name during the January 2004 Republican presidential primary in Londonderry, N.H. Ohio John Jackson M 2000-11 Presidential R Absentee Ballot Fraud 6 John Jackson, a Republican member of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections was charged with five counts of tampering with ballots, and one count of misconduct of an employee of the board of elections. Jackson was accused of changing residents' votes when he went to assist nursing home residents vote. The Supreme Court ruled that unsealed secret ballots could be used as evidence against him, but the case was ultimately dismissed because of the death of the witness. Kentucky Wilbur Graves Gary Bartley Ronald Muse Wanda Moore M 2006-11 General 2010-06 Vote buying Wilbur Graves, a former Monroe County Judge-Executive, was convicted of conspiracy to buy votes during the 2006 Monroe County general election.
