|Florida||Chaudhary||M||Registration fraud||Chaudhary was indicted for misuse of a social security number in violation of 42 U.S.C. section 408 and for making a false claim of United States citizenship on a 2002 driver’s license application in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 911. A superceding indictment was returned, charging Chaudhary with falsely claiming United States citizenship on a driver’s license application and on the accompanying voter registration application. |West Virginia||Ernest J. Stapleton (former commander of a Veterans of Foreign Wars post)||M||Ernest J. Stapleton was indicted with others for a conspiracy to control county government in Lincoln County by buying votes, keeping some supporters’ property taxes low, controlling county and state government jobs and rewarding supporters by ensuring their roads were repaired. |New Mexico||Shayne Adamski||M||Registration Fraud||Shayne Adamski resided and worked in California. He was a California delegate at the Democratic National Convention shortly before traveling to New Mexico as a paid employee for the Obama campaign to help get out the vote in that swing state. Only 38 days after acting as a California delegate to the Democratic National Convention, he registered to vote in New Mexico.
