Patrick alleging that he voted twice in the 2008 Presidential election. The Connecticut Elections Enforcement Commission investigation concluded that the matter should be dismissed. Wisconsin Andrew R. Knox M 2010-11 General 2015-03 Ineligible felon voting 1 1 Andrew R. Knox was charged with one count of felony election fraud for illegally voing as a convicted felon, and pleaded* no contest in Sauk County Circuit Court to an amended charge of misdemeanor falsification of voter registry information. New Jersey Angel Colon Samuel Gonzalez (husband of Teresa Ruiz) John Fernandez Gianine Narvaez Edwin Cruz Jonathon Kowalski Antonio Santana Joaquin Caceres Angel Colon Sorinette Rosario 2007-11 General Assembly/State Senate (state Sen. Teresa Ruiz) D 2009-08 Absentee/mail Impersonation Forgery Angel Colon, an employee of the City of Newark Office of Affirmative Actiona and former campaign worker for state Sen. Teresa Ruiz (D-Essex), was sentenced to three years in prison for submitting fraudulent ballots in her 2007 election. Colon, pleaded* guilty to election fraud in July 2011, admitting he submitted messenger ballots on behalf of voters in the Essex County-based 29th District without their knowledge. In January 2012, state Superior Court Judge Thomas Sumners Jr. sentenced Colon to five years probation. The Attorney General's Office sought three years in prison, consistent with a plea bargain that had been struck, and the appellate court agreed, saying the crime required Colon to serve prison time. The standard is five to 10 years in prison. "Justice demanded that Colon serve a state prison sentence, in accordance with his guilty plea,” acting state Attorney General John Hoffman said. California Angel Perales M 2007 2009 Absentee/Mail Ballot tampering 20 Angel Perales pleaded* guilty to voter fraud in Cudahy's 2007 and 2009 elections, admitting to tampering with mail-in ballots in city elections by resealing and submitting votes for incumbent candidates and discarding votes for challengers. The exact number of ballots tampered with is not known, but all mail ballots for both elections were "routinely and systematically opened". Perales also helped voters from outside the district illegally register to vote at an address at which they did not reside. Texas Angel Trujillo 2010 Municipal, School Ineligible felon voting 2 1 Angel Trujillo pleaded* guilty to one count of illegal voting by an ineligible felon (TEC 64.012) in 2010 municipal and school elections. New Hampshire Angela Brooke Corson F 2008-11 General Registration Fraud Ineligible district voting The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office investigated Angela Brooke Corson because she reportedly registered and voted for the first time on Election Day without photo identification, and the United States Post Office returned a verification letter sent to her address as undeliverable. Her identity was later verified, according to a New Hampshire Attorney General's Office investigation.
