Indiana Arthur Vera M 2003 Democratic primary D 2005-10 Ineligible district voting 1 Arthur Vera pleaded* guilty to voting in a precinct other than his own in the May 2003 Democratic primary, in which longtime East Chicago Mayor Robert Pastrick narrowly defeated challenger George Pabey. Indiana Randall Blue Artis M 2003 Democratic primary D 2006-03 Voter intimidation/coercion 7 Randall Blue Artis was charged with seven felony counts including inducing an East Chicago woman to vote outside of her home precinct and commit other voting violations in connection with the May 2003 Democratic mayoral primary in East Chicago. Michigan Julie Adriana Escobar F 2004 Non-citizen voting Registration Fraud - non 1 Julie Adriana Escobar was a permanent resident, but not a U.S. citizen, when she was given a voter registration card as part of change-of-address paperwork. She filled it out and then voted in the 2004 general election.

New Mexico Unknown impersonator F 2004 Impersonation 1 In 2004 Rose-Mary McGee presented to vote at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. Upon reaching the check-in table, polling officials informed Rose-Mary she had already voted. She insisted that she had not and produced identification (neither required nor accepted in NM). The polling official showed Rose-Mary where her signature had already been placed in the pollbook. Not only did the signatures fail to match, but her name was misspelled. New Mexico Unknown impersonator M 2004 Impersonation 1 Dwight Adkins, a frequent voter, took a special interest in the 2004 election; donating money, attending rallies and volunteering for a candidate. When he presented to vote that year, election officials informed him that someone had already cast a ballot in his name. Colorado Kimberly Michelle Cason F 2004 D 2004 Forgery Perjury Registration Fraud 21 Kimberly Michelle Cason was accused of being part of the ACORN registration scandal. Cason was paid by the hour to register people to vote. By falsifying registration forms, members of ACORN could allegedly bill for hours that were not worked. Cason admitted to forging signatures for her friends to vote 40 times. She was charged with 15 counts forgery, 5 counts of procuring false registration and 1 count perjury. 19 counts were dismissed.
