|New Mexico||Unknown impersonator||F||2004||Impersonation||1||In 2004 Rose-Mary McGee presented to vote at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. Upon reaching the check-in table, polling officials informed Rose-Mary she had already voted. She insisted that she had not and produced identification (neither required nor accepted in NM). The polling official showed Rose-Mary where her signature had already been placed in the pollbook. Not only did the signatures fail to match, but her name was misspelled. When he presented to vote that year, election officials informed him that someone had already cast a ballot in his name. Cason was paid by the hour to register people to vote. By falsifying registration forms, members of ACORN could allegedly bill for hours that were not worked. Cason admitted to forging signatures for her friends to vote 40 times. She was charged with 15 counts forgery, 5 counts of procuring false registration and 1 count perjury. 19 counts were dismissed.
