Kentucky William Bart Morris Cletus Maricle Douglas C. Adams Freddy W. Thompson Stanley Bowling Charles Wayne Jones William Stivers Debra L. Morris M 2002 2004 2006 2009-07 Vote Buying Circuit Court Judge Cletus Maricle, and seven others (Douglas C. Adams, Freddy W. Thompson, Stanley Bowling, Charles Wayne Jones, William Stivers, William Bart Morris and Debra L. Morris) were convicted in 2010 in a massive vote-buying scheme that ran through several elections. After a seven-week trial, the defendants were convicted on various charges they faced, which included vote-buying, mail fraud, extortion and money laundering. Several convicted major drug dealers testified during the trial about how easy it was to spread many thousands of dollars around to buy votes. Plea Deal: In 2010 sentenced to 20 years in prison. Florida Evangeline Williams F 2010 Registration fraud 72 In Miami, Florida, former ACORN voter registration canvassers Maurice Childress, Kashawn John, Liltovia Rhodes, Carlos Torres, Evangeline Williams, Lilkevia Williams, and Richard Williams, were all convicted of “false swearing in an election.” Filing multiple voter registration applications with fictitious names and as the same individuals and registering ACORN canvassers to vote multiple times while working on an ACORN voter drive. Charges: 36 counts of false swearing in connection with voting or elections and 36 counts of submission of false voter registration information. Michigan Jason Bauer (former Democratic Operations Director) Michael McGuinness M 2010-11 D OTHER 9 Jason Bauer and Michael McGuinness were two Oakland County Democrats who pleaded no contest to charges related to putting fake Tea Party candidates on the Nov. 2010 election in an attempt to dilute the Republican ballot. Idaho Susan Rose Harris F Registration Fraud Charged with illegal voter registrations. Pleaded guilty. $200 fine and 3 months probation. The case was later dismissed.
Florida James Randolph Anthony Grant, Antionette Nowells M 2015-03 Eatonville municipal 2016-03 Absentee/mail Voter intimidation/coercion 25 James Randolph, Eatonville Mayor Anthony Grant, and Mia Antionette Nowells were indicted on 25 felony voter fraud charges for coercing voters and submitting illegally obtained absentee ballots in the March 2015 mayoral election in which Grant was elected. A grand jury found that Grant, Nowells and Randolph solicited an absentee ballot from someone who didn't live in Eatonville, marked ballots for voters and forced people to register to vote. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/breaking-news/os-eatonville-election-grand-j...
California Jason Lee Hayes M 2006 2006-10 Registration fraud Jason Lee Hayes, along with 11 others, were charged with deceiving voters into re-registering, motivated by a $10 bounty for each new registered voter. Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas charged 12 people with multiple counts of felony voter registration fraud. Hayes pleaded guilty to 1 count of fraudulent completion of affidavit of registration.
