Dominguez Juana A. Gil Jose E. Gonzalez Loudes Inoa Ricardo A. Fermin-Cepeda Wilson A. Torres 2010-05 Paterson city council D 2010-12 Absentee/mail Ballot tampering Ricardo A. Fermin-Cepeda of Paterson, was charged with second- and third-degree voter fraud and third-degree tampering with public records but is currently a fugitive. Loudes Inoa of Paterson ; Jose E. Gonzalez of Paterson; Juana A. Gil of Paterson; Octavio A. Dominguez of Elmwood Park; Dalila Rodriguez of Paterson, and Wilson A. Torres of Paterson were charged with third-degree voter fraud and third-degree tampering with public records. Jose Ramon Ruiz of Prospect Park, Inocencio Jimenez of Paterson; Lucia A. Guzman of Paterson; Ana Vely-Gomez of Paterson; and Belkis M. Cespedes of Paterson were arrested on charges of second- and third-degree voter fraud and third-degree tampering with public record. The defendants all allegedly acted as bearers/messengers for mail-in (absentee) ballots. The complaint summonses allege that the defendants tampered with mail-in ballots and/or voted mail-in ballots on behalf of voters who did not receive the ballots or who did not authorize them to vote for them. http://www.nj.gov/oag/newsreleases10/pr20101202b.html
Ohio Jacqueline Maiden (Board of Elections Coordinator) F 2004 General OTHER Jacqueline Maiden and Kathleen Dreamer, election board members, were accused of election crimes related to a ballot recount following the 2004 presidential election. Maiden and Dreamer were convicted and sentenced to 18 months in prison, but the sentence was overturned and they were granted a retrial. Both ultimately pleaded no contest. Initially sentenced to 18 months in prison, but that was later overturned. Ohio Terry Gorth M 2009-11 Multiple Voting Absentee/Mail 1 Terry Gorth was accused of voting twice in the same election using two absentee ballots. Charged with illegal voting. Pleaded guilty to illegal voting, a felony. Orignial sentence of probation was revoked six months after it was handed down, and he was sentenced to 6 months in Clermont County jail. Kentucky William Stivers (former precinct worker) Cletus Maricle Douglas C. Adams Freddy W. Thompson Stanley Bowling Charles Wayne Jones William Bart Morris Debra L. Morris M 2002 2004 2006 2009-07 Vote Buying Circuit Court Judge Cletus Maricle, and seven others (Douglas C. Adams, Freddy W. Thompson, Stanley Bowling, Charles Wayne Jones, William Stivers, William Bart Morris and Debra L. Morris) were convicted in 2010 in a massive vote-buying scheme that ran through several elections. After a seven-week trial, the defendants were convicted on various charges they faced, which included vote-buying, mail fraud, extortion and money laundering. Several convicted major drug dealers testified during the trial about how easy it was to spread many thousands of dollars around to buy votes. In 2010 sentenced to 24 years in prison. New York Unknown impersonators 2012-11 General In person Impersonation 2 There were at least two instances of ‘outright voter fraud’ in Dutchess County in November 2012 — one in the city of Poughkeepise and another in Pleasant Valley — where a voter went to vote only to find someone had forged that person’s name and voted in their stead. Both instances were referred to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.
