Demet pleaded* guilty to two counts of election fraud after admitting to forging at least seven names on petitions to recall Republican state senator Van Wanggaard in 2011 and 2012. In exchange for his plea, Racine County prosecutors agreed to drop seven charges of identity fraud. Prosecutors in Kenosha County agreed not to charge Demet with similar offenses there. Texas Unknown impersonator M 2012-11 General 2012-12 In person Multiple voting 1 Starr County Elections Administrator Rafael Montalvo said that during the November 2012 general election, one person voted twice in one day. California Donald Dewsnup M 2015-11 San Francisco Supervisory Council 2016-04 Registration fraud - false address Ineligible district voting 7 1 Donald Dewsnup was charged with registering to vote using a false address, which allowed him to illegally vote in San Francisco Supervisorial District 3, in which he didn’t live. Texas Rosa Maria Ortega F Multiple R 2015-10 Non-citizen voting In person 2 5 Rosa Maria Ortega, a non-citizen legally residing in Tarrant County, Texas, was charged with two felony counts of illegal voting. Ortega was charged for voting in person during the November 2012 general election and in the May 2014 primary runoff election in Dallas County. Ortega applied to vote in Tarrant County and acknowledged on the application form that she was not a citizen. The county rejected her application and notified her she was not qualified to vote. Five months later, she applied again and claimed she was a citizen. Ortega never did vote in Tarrant County, but investigators learned she had voted in Dallas County. Dallas County Elections Administrator Toni Pippins-Poole said records showed that Ortega had voted a total of five times. The first was in the Republican primary in 2004 and the most recent was the Republican primary runoff in May 2014. Washington Kimberlee Stanger F 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged.
