Oklahoma Unnamed Comanche County voters (3) 2016-03 Primary Multiple voting Absentee/mail In person 3 Three Comanche County residents voted twice in the 2016 Presidential Preferential Primary. New York Clement Campana Anthony DiFiglio William McInerney Anthony Renna John Brown Clement Campana Gary Galuski Michael LoPorto Ed McDonough Kevin McGrath M 2009-09 Working Families Party Primary D Absentee/mail Clement Campana, Troy City Council President, was indicted on five felonies and one misdemeanor for his allegedly defrauding voters during the 2009 Working Families Party primary. Campana was charged with four felony counts of illegal voting, one felony count of falsifying business records in the first degree as well as one count of conspiracy to promote or prevent election, a misdemeanor. He pled* not guilty to all charges in front of Judge George Pulver. The indictment states that Campana worked with other Democrats to conspire to help candidates win the primary. Many of the allegations involve talking voters into accepting and signing absentee ballot applications, and then filling in the rest of the application with fraudulent information like why the voter couldn't vote and then filing them with the Board of Elections. Campana turned down a deal that would have required him to plead guilty to a misdemeanor and serve 60 days of house arrest, said his attorney E. Kentucky Gary “Rooster” Risner Tami Jo Risner Larry Shepherd Mason Daniels Scott McCarty M 2014 Primary, General D Vote buying Magoffin County magistrate Gary “Rooster” Risner was convicted in federal court of conspiring to buy votes in the 2014 primary and general elections, along with his wife Tami Jo Risner and chief deputy county court clerk Larry Shepherd. Co-defendant Scotty L. McCarty pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor vote-fraud charge and gave information to authorities. Unindicted co-conspirator Charles “Doc” Hardin allegedly put up money for vote buying in multiple elections from 2008 to 2014. Ohio Unnamed Resident 2012-11 General Multiple voting In person 1 Auglaize County officials are looking into possible voter fraud after discovering one resident may have voted twice in the Nov. 6, 2012 election. Board of elections director Carolyn Campbell said staff members go from precinct to precinct after each election to count every ballot and verify every signature. During that process after the general election, they discovered one person may have voted in two different precincts. Because of the ongoing investigation, Campbell could not release the name of the voter or the precincts. The voter will face felony charges if officials determine there is enough evidence for fraud. After discovering the double vote, Campbell brought the issue to the board, who agreed to turn the issue over to the sheriff's department and the prosecuting attorney.
