Shelia Pritchett, of Phenix City, was charged with two counts of second-degree forgery and two counts of absentee ballot fraud, all Class C felonies. Both women were working for a candidate in the 2012 Phenix City municipal election. Russell County District Attorney Ken Davis said the fraud came to light when officials discovered duplicate applications for absentee ballots.
