Ohio Multiple cases - Delaware County ResponsibleOhio 2015-08 Issue 3 referendum Registration fraud Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted sent “multiple cases” of potential voter-registration fraud by ResponsibleOhio to the Delaware County prosecutor for possible legal action. Voter registration forms submitted by The Strategy Network, the company owned by Ian James, executive director of ResponsibleOhio, appear to include “potential violations of election laws.”

Ohio Michelle Twiggs F Petition Fraud 2 Michelle Twiggs was charged with 2 counts prohibitions relating to petitions. Pleaded guilty to 1 count prohibited acts concerning declarations and petitions, felony. Other count dismissed. 6 months of probation
Connecticut Abby M. Gross F Multiple Voting Abby M. Gross was accused of voting in two towns. The Connecticut Elections Enforcement Commission investigation did not find evidence that Gross was voting twice and the complaint was dismissed. Dismissed
Mississippi Elberto Brown M Vote Buying Paid undercover police officers $30 per vote, pleaded guilty to attempted bribery. 2 years probation and $500 fine
Idaho Ronald Edwin Prior M Registration Fraud Charged with illegal registrations by voter. Pleaded guilty. $200 fine and 3 months probation. The case was later dismissed.
Connecticut Mary Oleynick (former member of Democratic Town Committee) F D Absentee/Mail Illegal Assistance Oleynick, a campaign volunteer, was accused of violating procedures for assisting people with absentee ballots and applications. The accusations were raised by a candidate who complained that fraud had taken place because more people voted absentee than usual. Received a civil penalty of $5,000. Lost eligibility for certain election jobs. Ordered to resign from the Democratic Town Committee. Agreed not to solicit or assist with absentee ballots in the future.
Michigan Willie David Branham M 2002 2004 2006 2008 Multiple Voting 4 Willie and Darlene Branham (husband and wife) were accused of voting both in Michigan and in Florida in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008.
Texas Fermina Castillo F 2010-11 General Ineligible felon voting 1 1 Fermina Castillo pleaded* guilty to one count of illegally voting while an ineligible felon (TEC 64.012) in the 2010 general election. *Plea deal: 2 years deferred adjudication/community supervision, $100 fine Hidalgo: CR-1912-12-I
Texas Gloria Tejada F Gloria Tejada was mailed a letter. No new violations were reported. Statue of limitations expired. Not charged.
