|New Mexico||Sunland Park Municipal Government||2012-03||Sunland Park municipal||2012-03||Election injunction||New Mexico's Secretary of State and Dona Ana County's District Attorney filed an emergency petition to enjoin Sunland Park's City Clerk from conducting the March 6, 2012 municipal election, due to reports of multiple cases of voter fraud. Thirteen individuals are registered to vote at one residence in Sunland Park, including six who registered between Jan. 5 and Feb. 7 of this year. Eight of them, including five who have already voted, don’t actually live in Sunland Park. More than one appears to also be registered to vote in El Paso. One woman helped several others who aren’t Sunland Park residents register to vote.
