Convicted in 2010, but was granted a new trial and again convicted in 2014. Two years of community corrections. Wisconsin Yadira Colon F 2008 2009 D 2009-11 Absentee/mail Ineligible district voting Petition fraud 4 1 Yadira Colón pleaded* no contest to two counts of election fraud for forging signatures on nomination papers for Pedro Colón, then a Democratic member of the Wisconsin Assembly from Milwaukee, in 2009. Colón, a Voces De La Frontera volunteer, was also charged with illegally registering to vote and casting an absentee ballot in Milwaukee in 2008, listing an address in the city when she in fact resided in Oshkosh at the time. Prosecutors agreed to drop two charges, and Colón pleaded no contest to two others. Circuit Judge Dennis Moroney sentenced Colón to the 16 days she already spent in jail for one count, and to six months - suspended - on the second, with the condition of a year's probation, which he allowed to be transferred to Florida. *Pea deal: 16 days in jail (time served), plus 6 months (suspended) and 1 year probation (transferred to Florida) http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/174211971.html

Ohio Yolanda Hippensteele Amy Little Daniel "Tate" Hausman F 2008 General D Ineligible district voting Absentee/Mail 1 1 Yolanda Hippensteele (California native, staff member for Vote Today Ohio, and out-of-state campaigner for Barak Obama) was one of several people who came to Franklin County, Ohio, registered to vote after 30 days and voted, eventhough she did not intend to remain a resident of the county and state. She and her co-defendants chose to vote in Ohio over their home states, because Ohio is a swing state and Obama was expected to easily win in their home states. Charged with a violation under Title 35 of Ohio Code, casting an absentee ballot despite not meeting residency requirement. Pleaded guilty.
