Colón, a Voces De La Frontera volunteer, was also charged with illegally registering to vote and casting an absentee ballot in Milwaukee in 2008, listing an address in the city when she in fact resided in Oshkosh at the time. Prosecutors agreed to drop two charges, and Colón pleaded no contest to two others. She and her co-defendants chose to vote in Ohio over their home states, because Ohio is a swing state and Obama was expected to easily win in their home states. Charged with a violation under Title 35 of Ohio Code, casting an absentee ballot despite not meeting residency requirement. Pleaded guilty.
