|New York||Dutchess County Democratic Election Commissioner staff||2011||Poughkeepsie primary||D||Absentee/Mail||Ballot tampering||New York State Supreme Court Justice Charles Wood ordered data relating to 40 City of Poughkeepsie 2011 primary election absentee ballots to be returned to its previous status. Republican Dutchess County Elections Commissioner Erik Haight charged one of Democratic Commission Frances Knapp’s staffer “manipulated” data to benefit the Democrats. Haight also asked the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office to investigate what he believes is voter fraud. “I caught one or more Democratic Board of elections employees manipulating and tampering with data in the system to divert absentee ballots and the court ordered that manipulation was to be undone and it’s a huge victory for the absentee voters in Dutchess County because the votes that were diverted were elderly and disabled people.”||http://www.midhudsonnews.com/News/2011/October/21/DC_BoE_Crt-21Oct11.htm|
