Connecticut Hector Robles Campaign D Registration Fraud A married couple alleged that they were registered as Democrats against their wishes. The State of Connecticut Elections Enforcement Commission investigated the Hector Robles Campaign, which registered the voters. The case was dismissed because of insufficient of evidence, but is "subject to the Commission's right to reopen" if "new evidence is discovered." Dismissed, but case could be reopened if new evidence wsa discovered.
Colorado John McCarthy M 2004-08 Forgery Registration Fraud Charged with forgery and procuring false registrations for nearly 50 voters. McCarthy was hired by a campaign finance company, Choose 2 Vote, to register new voters for a fee. He submitted forged registration applications. McCarthy entered a guilty plea and received a 3-year sentence tied to probation revocation and another case. Wisconsin Glenn D. Schofield M 2009-12 Ineligible felon voting Glenn D. Schofield was accused of casting a vote while being a felon on supervision. Pleaded guilty to the charges. 1 year and 6 months probation and fined $654.50 plus court fees http://www.wqow.com/global/story.asp?s=11675731
California Anthony Ogwo M 2006 2006-10 Registration fraud Anthony Ogwo, along with 11 others, were charged with deceiving voters into re-registering, motivated by a $10 bounty for each new registered voter. Mississippi Corey Holmes M Corey Holmes, of Pike County, was not charged. His name was included on a list by Mississippi Attorney General's Office.
West Virginia Thomas Ramey, Jr. (former Lincoln County commissioner) Jerry Bowman Donald Whitten M 2010 Municipal - Democratic primary 2012-07 Absentee/Mail Thomas Ramey Jr. was a Lincoln County commissioner when he lied to an FBI agent about his handling of fraudulent absentee ballots. Ramey was part of a conspiracy to flood the 2010 Democratic primary with absentee ballots. Ramey directed another person to alter applications and was present when the alterations were made. Ramey admitted he completed many false absentee ballot applications for would-be voters, providing false reasons to claim those voters were eligible to vote absentee. Pleaded guilty after resigning from office.
