New Jersey Marty Small Ernest Storr Tracy Pijuan Luquay Zahir Floyd Tally David Callaway Toni Dixon Dameka Cross Mark Crumble Michele Griffin Ramona Stephens Demaris Jones Ronald Harris M 2009 Municipal - Democratic primary 2009-09 Absentee Ballot Fraud 10 Atlantic City Councilman Marty Small and five co-defendants went to trial in November 2010 for attempting to win an election by asking voters to apply for absentee ballots. Instead of letting the voters choose their own candidate, a self-proclaimed “secret army” mishandled ballots and even had a “shredding party” to dispose of votes for opposing candidates. Voters were told whom to vote for, never received their ballots — which wound up being cast anyway — or got their applications and ballots at the same time. It was alleged that some voters did not even live in the city, and used fictitious addresses in order to vote. Small was charged and acquitted twice of voter fraud. Charged with 10 counts of Absentee Voter Fraud. Maryland Elsie Virginia Schildt F 2012-11 General 2013-07 Absentee/Mail Impersonation - deceased Multiple voting 3 1 Maryland state prosecutors indicted a Frederick County woman, Elsie Virginia Schildt, for attempting to cast an absentee ballot for her mother, who died two months before Election Day. Schildt, 46, was charged with impersonating another person in an attempt to vote, attempting to vote under a false name and attempting to vote more than once in the same election.  In September 2013, Schildt pleaded* guilty to attempting to vote more than once. Schildt and her mother, who had the same first and last name, requested absentee ballots on March 26, 2012. The mother died Sept. 24. In October, Schildt returned her own absentee ballot. On Nov. 3, she mailed a ballot for her mother, whose signature she had forged. The ballot, received Nov. 7, was not counted “because an employee of the Frederick County Board of Elections had prior knowledge of Elsie Mae Schildt’s death.” Judge Julie Stevenson Solt sentenced Schildt to probation before judgment and ordered her to complete 40 hours of community service. *Plea deal: Probation, plus 40 hours community service for 1 count of attempting to vote twice http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/politics/blog/bs-md-illegal-voting-ind... http://www.fredericknewspost.com/locations/local/frederick_county/article_910f25...
