Minnesota John Robert Albertson M 2008-11 General 2011-11 Ineligible felon voting 1 1 John Robert Albertson was charged with voting while ineligible in the November 2008 general election. Albertson had been convicted and sentenced for the felony offense of theft. He was placed on probation. As a condition of the probation agreement, he did not have the right to vote while on felony probation. Records from the Dakota County Auditor's office indicate that he voted Nov. 4, 2008 - at a time when he was still on probation.
