Washington John Doe5 M 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Ohio John Jackson M 2000-11 Presidential R Absentee Ballot Fraud 6 John Jackson, a Republican member of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections was charged with five counts of tampering with ballots, and one count of misconduct of an employee of the board of elections. Jackson was accused of changing residents' votes when he went to assist nursing home residents vote. The Supreme Court ruled that unsealed secret ballots could be used as evidence against him, but the case was ultimately dismissed because of the death of the witness. Indiana Michelle Chandler (city controller’s office) F 2003 Democratic primary D Ineligible district voting Absentee/Mail Perjury 3 1 Michelle Chandler, a worker in the city controller’s office, was found guilty of one count of felony perjury in a fraud case that ultimately overturned the result of the 2003 East Chicago Democratic mayoral primary.
