Connecticut Peter Nygard M 2008-11 Registration Fraud Ineligible district voting A complaint was made that Richard Murray, Neill Bovaird, Kelly Way, Nancy Pilon, Janelle Rooks, M. Samantha Geiger, Amy Bovaird, Peter Nygard, Shannon Nygard and Angela Harwood were registered and in some cases voted in a place where they did not reside. An Election Commission investigation found that the defendants had registered in good faith with the belief that they did reside in the district in which they registered. The Commission found that had the Registrar's office been more thorough and done their due diligence, it would have found that the addresses provided were not within the required district and the voter registrations/voting would not have occurred. Ohio Alan Szabo M 2006-11 Petition Fraud 6 Alan Szabo forged signatures on petitions for ballot question. Charged with 6 counts election fraud. Pleaded guilty to 3 counts. Arkansas Jack Crumbly (former Arkansas State Senate candidate) M 2006-05 Democratic Primary run off D Alleged fraud in the runoff election against Crumbly for Senate seat. Allegations included fraud with absentee ballots, forged signatures, voters not signing the bearer book, double votes recorded and 173 ballots never found. The original lawsuit was dismissed, but the state Supreme Court overturned that decision. Texas Peter Goeddertz (former candidate for RUD board) M 2010-05 Woodlands Road Utility District 2012-03 Ineligible district voting Registration Fraud Peter Goeddertz was one of seven voters indicted for voting outside their district. The group planned to vote in a district where they did not reside in order to elect three of their members to the board of directors of The Woodlands Road Utility District. The group illegally registered in the district by using the address of a hotel in the district as their home address of their voter registration application. Utah Mildred Haslem F 2006 Sheriff Registration Fraud Mildred Haslem, along with 50 other people in Utah's Daggett County, was accused in connection with a 2006 election for sheriff. All 51 were accused of fraudulent registration, and many were accused of living outside the county but registering to vote within the county. Washington Caroline Etherington F 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Texas Chente Quintanilla (former state representative) Enedina Nina Serna Ruben Lujan 2014-05 Primary Runoff - 2014 D Absentee/Mail The Attorney General's office is looking into voter fraud allegations made by former Justice of the Peace for Precinct Six, Rosalie Dominguez, against former State Rep. Chente Quintanilla and two current Justices of the Peace, Enedina Nina Serna and Ruben Lujan. Serna and Quintanilla allegedly signed up seniors for absentee ballots for homebound residents and unlawfully picked up the ballots at their homes.
