Connecticut Mamie Jackson M Absentee/Mail Illegal Assistance Jackson, a campaign volunteer, was accused of not signing absentee ballot applications she assisted with, as required by law. She was also accused of being present while people voted absentee ballots, a violation of state laws, because she was an agent of a political party. Civil penalty of $5,000, reduced to $500 due to financial hardship. Ordered not to assist with absentee ballot applications or distribute absentee ballots for two years. Ordered not to be present when people are filling out absentee ballots or to take them and to comply with the law in the future.
