Thomas Keefer and William Geary, Democratic supervisors, were also charged for soliciting absentee votes from elderly residents who weren't eligible to cast such ballots. Keefer was charged with five violations of the election code relating to absentee ballots. Geary was charged with seven violations of the same provision. In addition, both men were charged with one count of unlawful assistance in voting and two counts of conspiracy. Keefer, Geary, and Wiltrout visited elderly voters' homes to help them complete ballots despite knowing the voters were physically able to vote in-person on Election Day, and also failed to fill out declarations of physical disability with the ballots, which certify that the voters wouldn't be able to vote in-person. Keefer obtained six votes that way, Geary obtained seven, and Wiltrout two. In a warrant filed in October 2016 in County Court, investigators said they were seeking documents, financial information, and lists of employees at the Norwood office of FieldWorks LLC, a national organization that does political work for Democrats. Pleaded guilty to nine counts of perjury for signing a sworn statement on petitions that signatures were legitimate. |North Carolina||Dianna Lightfoot||F||R||Registration fraud - ineligible address||Ineligible district voting||Dianna Lightfoot registered to vote using an address of a UPS store. Public records from the N.C. State Board of Elections show Lightfoot registered to vote at her mailing address, instead of her residential address. Board of Elections rules clearly state that voters must provide a residential address to register to vote. Falsifying voter registration information is considered a Class I Felony. Only one Dianna Lightfoot is registered to vote in the state. That registration is for Dianna L. Lightfoot, 353 Jonestown Road, Winston-Salem. That is the address of a UPS store. Store manager Jared Roper said Lightfoot is a customer at the store and rents a mailbox there. Board of Elections records show Lightfoot registered to vote in Forsyth County in March 2012 as a Republican. Her voting record shows she cast ballots in the May primary, July primary and November general election. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged.
