Minnesota Ineligible felon voters (1,099) 2008-11 General 2010+ Ineligible felon voting 243 Minnesota Majority identified 1,099 ineligible felons who voted in the November 2008 U.S. Senate election, which was eventually decided by 312 votes, by comparing criminal records with voting rolls. Minnesota Majority took the information to prosecutors across the state. Many were not interested in pursuing the cases, but Minnesota law requires authorities to investigate such leads. As of 2012, 177 ineligible felon voters had been convicted of voting fraudulently in the Senate race, and another 66 were awaiting trial. Many of the ineligible felons avoided conviction by saying they didn't 'knowingly' vote unlawfully. While some ineligible felon voters registered in advance of the election and should have been flagged for challenge, the overwhelming majority who evaded detection used Election Day Registration, which currently has no mechanism to detect or prevent ineligible voters.  http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/york-when-1099-felons-vote-in-race-won-by-312-... http://www.electionintegritywatch.com/documents/2011-Report-Voter-Fraud-Convicti... http://www.mnvoters.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=266%3Amva-p...

Mississippi Election Contest: Dave Ware v, Johnny DuPree 2013-06 Hattiesburg Mayoral Election Contest Voter impersonation Ineligible felon voting In the June 4, 2013 election for Hattiesburg Mayor, Dave Ware finished 37 votes behind incumbent Johnny DuPree. But that result was marred by a total breakdown in the absentee balloting process and shocking instances of illegal voting. Hundreds of absentee ballots failed to comply with mandatory provisions of Mississippi law. They were counted anyway, giving DuPree well more than his margin of victory. The evidence showed improper influence of absentee voters and lax security and recordkeeping for absentee ballots. One ballot cast by a Ware supporter simply disappeared. A 17-year-old voted absentee from the county jail. A “curbside” voter at the Dixie Pine precinct (someone too disabled to enter the polling place but who voted in person from his vehicle, with help from the poll managers) was actually a healthy 22-year-old man who was in San Antonio, Texas on Election Day. He did not vote, but someone else voted in his name. Disenfranchised felons voted, even though their prior crimes made them ineligible. Sheriff’s personnel carried one of those voters from jail to vote in person on June 4. At least four ineligible felons voted. The trial itself involved allegations of witness intimidation, jury “retaliation,” and a 9-3 verdict for Ware that somehow devolved into a deadlocked 8-4 vote. Colorado Unknown impersonators (multiple) Multiple Absentee/Mail Impersonation Multiple deceased voters were found to be on Colorado's voter rolls and having one or more fraudulent votes cast in their names months or years after their deaths.
