She was a volunteer poll worker who helped an elderly cousin vote by signing her name in the book and casting the vote for her. It was determined that her actions were a misguided effort to assist a voter and she was eligible for pre-trial diversion. New Hampshire Stephanie Marie Murphy-Mejia F 2008-11 General Registration Fraud Ineligible district voting The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office investigated Stephanie Marie Murphy-Mejia because she reportedly registered and voted for the first time on Election Day without photo identification, and the United States Post Office returned a verification letter sent to her address as undeliverable. Her identity was later verified, according to a New Hampshire Attorney General's Office investigation.
