Texas Belinda Solis Veronica Saldivar F 2012-05 Democratic primary General Donna ISD D 2014-08 Vote buying (federal) 1 5 Belinda Solis and Veronica Saldivar pleaded* guilty in federal court to buying votes during the May 2012 Democratic primary and the 2012 general election. A campaign manager for a Hidalgo County Commissioner bought cocaine and gave it to the two women so they could use it to entice voters. Solis pleaded guilty to one count of vote-buying after she admitted to buying five votes with cash and cocaine. Both women were part of a large year and a half long FBI investigation into election corruption in Hidalgo County that began in January 2013. Washington Duncan Medlin M 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Oklahoma Ronald Joel Henry Brenda Henry M 2016-04 Municipal 2016-08 Absentee/mail 1 9 Ronald Henry and his wife Brenda were arrested and charged in Oklahoma County District Court with one felony count of falsifying an absentee ballot application in the April 2016 Luther town council election. At least nine absentee ballots were fraudulently filled out, including multiple false or duplicate addresses and illegal notarizations without voters present. One voter who was listed as voting absentee confirmed that he did not fill out a ballot or vote in the election.
