Texas Sara Virginia Perales Tomasa Ramirez Chavez Bernice Garcia Margarita Rangel Ozuna Vicenta Guajardo Verino Facunda Banda Garcia F 2012-07 Democratic primary runoff D 2014-07 Absentee/mail Illegal assistance Sara Virginia Perales was one of six Cameron County politiqueras charged with voter fraud as a result of a multi-agency investigation into illicit voting activity surrounding the Democratic primary runoff in July 2012 that included federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. California Name Not Disclosed Petition Fraud Forgery An individual in Santa Cruz County (name not disclosed) was charged under the California Election Code/California Penal Code. The charges pertained to making a false affidavit concerning a petition or the petition signatures; Subscribing fictitious names or the name of another to a petition; forgery. Tennessee Chuck Hunt M 2011 Tellico Plains Mayoral 2012-02 Vote Buying 8 Chuck Hunt was accused of bribing voters to cast ballots a certain way. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Florida Evangeline Williams F 2010 Registration fraud 72 In Miami, Florida, former ACORN voter registration canvassers Maurice Childress, Kashawn John, Liltovia Rhodes, Carlos Torres, Evangeline Williams, Lilkevia Williams, and Richard Williams, were all convicted of “false swearing in an election.” Filing multiple voter registration applications with fictitious names and as the same individuals and registering ACORN canvassers to vote multiple times while working on an ACORN voter drive. Charges: 36 counts of false swearing in connection with voting or elections and 36 counts of submission of false voter registration information. Connecticut Bill Finch campaign (candidate for Bridgeport mayor)  2015-09 Democratic primary D Absentee/Mail Impersonation Illegal assistance Democrat Joe Ganim, a former Bridgeport mayor who spent nearly a decade in federal prison for corruption but ran for the office again in 2015, accused incumbent Mayor and fellow Democrat Bill Finch with absentee ballot fraud. Ganim claimed individuals identified from the Finch campaign actually handled absentee ballots from seniors or people that were disabled, filled them out and mailed them in. The Secretary of the State’s office confirmed that they had intervened in Bridgeport over the supervision of the large number of absentee ballots requested, estimated at several thousand. http://wtnh.com/2015/09/14/bridgeport-ballot-problems-again/
