Pleaded guilty to misdemeanor common law obstruction of justice. After the plea arrangement, it was admitted that Johnson voted in the 2008 election, applying for the absentee ballot on Oct. 20, 2008. Washington Mary Jean Cumero F 2010-11 General 2011-07 Absentee/Mail Forgery 1 Mary Jean Cumero reportedly signed and mailed a ballot for her dead husband, who died a month before ballots were mailed. Minnesota Anna Nichole Nelson F 2012-11 General 2013-02 In person Ineligible felon voting 1 1 Anna Nichole Nelson, a convicted felon, pleaded* guilty to voting while ineligible in the November 2012 general election, while still on probation. Using Election Day Registration, Nelson voted at a polling place in Carlton County, at which time she completed a voter registration application and signed a certification saying she was eligible to vote. when in fact her voting rights had not been restored. Carlton County Auditor/Treasurer Paul Gassert said that because the voter's ineligiblity was discovered after the fact, there was no way to prevent the fraudulent vote from counting. New Jersey Felicia Simmons Melvin Howell F 2015 Elizabeth school board 2016-04 Absentee/Mail Illegal assistance 1 1 Felicia Simmons and Melvin Howell were each charged with third-degree vote-by-mail fraud in the 2015 Elizabeth Board of Education election for filling out fraudulent applications for absentee ballots. Connecticut Killingly Board of Education Voter intimidation/coercion Citizens for Limited Taxation filed a complaint against Killingly Kids Count (KKC), a registered political committee, with the State of Connecticut State Elections Enforcement Commission that alleged the group tried to intimidate voters through its flyers for two separate elections. It also alleged that a school official had "advocated a position on a referendum using public funds," when he called a radio station and told listeners to vote against a measure. After an investigation, the commission found there was no evidence that the group had posted the flyers. The commission also concluded that the school principal made the call during his break and was not guilty of any wrongdoing. The complaint was dismissed. Dismissed
Mississippi Brenda Wiggs (circuit clerk) F Brenda Wiggs, Circuit Clerk of Monroe County, was charged with voter fraud.
Texas Isamel Hernandez Case declined for prosecution.
Washington Anne Malmevik F 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged.
