Texas Hazel Brionne Woodard F 2011-06 Democratic primary D 2012-05 In person Impersonation 1 1 Hazel Brionne Woodard, a 2011 Democratic precinct chair candidate, pleaded* guilty to having her son vote on behalf of his father on June 18, 2011. Voter fraud allegations arose after the boy’s father showed up to cast his own ballot later that same day. Florida Velrine Palmer F Non-citizen voting Velrine Palmer was one of 15 non citizens charged with voting in various elections. Four of the defendants were also charged with making false claims of citizenship. Ten defendants were convicted, one was acquitted and charges against the remaining four defendants were dismissed. Washington Janice Schmidt Holden F 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Alaska Rogelio Mejorada-Lopez M 2000 2002 2004 General Non-citizen voting 3 3 Rogelio Mejorada-Lopez, a legal immigrant from Mexico, pleaded* guilty to three counts of voting by a non-citizen in violation of 18 U.S.C. 611 after illegally voting in the 2000, 2002, and 2004 general elections. Illinois Unidentified (multiple) 2016-03 Primary Absentee/mail 4 A voter fraud investigation is underway after a Washington Park voter showed up to cast her ballot early in the March 2016 primary to find someone had already submitted a mail-in ballot under her name. The St. Clair County State’s Attorney received credible information that at least four voters attempted to vote early in person only to find that someone had voted by mail already under his or her name. Two voters also reported being asked to provide blank ballots by individuals in the East St. Louis area. In addition, state’s attorney’s investigators have confirmed that four applications for mail-in ballots are invalid because the address listed on the application is of an abandoned house. The county clerk’s office has denied the application for those ballots and removed those registrations from the voter rolls. Alabama Daniel Webster Reynolds III Lesa Coleman Janice Hart Olivia Reynolds M 2013 Dothan municipal D 2014-07 Absentee/Mail Conspiracy 3 3 Daniel Webster Reynolds III pleaded* guilty to three counts of absentee ballot fraud, a class C felony, as part of a scheme to falsify absentee ballots in the 2013 Dothan city commission election on behalf of District 2 Commissioner Amos Newsome. Newsome won the election by just 14 votes.
