New York Benjamen Hodzic M 2014-05 Catskill school board 2014-05 In person Impersonation Forgery 2 1 Benjamen Hodzic of Catskill was charged with voter fraud for imperonating another voter in the May 20, 2014 Catskill School District Board of Education election. He was arrested one day after the election by the Village of Catskill Police Department. Hodzic was charged with one count of second degree forgery, in which the person falsely makes, completes, or alters a written instrument which is calculated to become or to represent a public record filed, or required by law to be filed, in or with a public office or public servant, and which is a class D felony. Hodzic was also charged with one count of second degree criminal impersonation of another person with intent to obtain a benefit, a class A misdemeanor. Hodzic allegedly signed in as his brother on the registration roll, cast the votes, and was later recognized and verified as not being on the registration roll. Catskill Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Farrell said Wednesday the district reported the matter to village police immediately. He was arraigned in Catskill Village Court and released on his own recognizance. Candidate Michael J. Connecticut Lonnie Reed F 2005-11 Ineligible district voting A complaint was brought against Lonnie Reed alleging that she was not a resident of the town where she cast her ballot. Reed sold her Branford home, where she had lived for 25 years, seven days before an election and was living at the home of friends who lived in the same town. Although she tried to buy a home in the same district, she ultimately moved to an address in District 4. The Connecticut Elections Enforcement Commission investigation concluded that because Reed had the intention of buying a house in District 5 at the time of the election, she was not guilty of fraud. Minnesota Susan Dulogan Walker F 2009-11 Kanabec County, School District 2011-08 Non-citizen voting Registration Fraud 2 1 Allegedly voted in the 2009 Ogilvie, Kanabec County, School District Election when she was not eligible to vote because she was a legal permanent resident, but not a citizen, of the United States. Charged with ineligible voter knowingly votes; registration and eligibility of voters-register an ineligible voter. Pleaded guilty to registration and eligibility of voters-register an ineligible voter. New Jersey Gianine Narvaez Samuel Gonzalez (husband of Teresa Ruiz) John Fernandez Gianine Narvaez Edwin Cruz Jonathon Kowalski Antonio Santana Joaquin Caceres Angel Colon Sorinette Rosario F 2007-11 General Assembly/State Senate (state Sen. Teresa Ruiz) D Absentee/mail Ballot tampering Gianine Narvaez, 39, pleaded guilty in March 2010 to third-degree charges of absentee ballot fraud and tampering with public records or information. Narvaez, a former data processing technician for the Essex County Commissioner of Registration and Superintendent of Elections, has forfeited her job and public pension, and also is barred from public employment in New Jersey.
