|Texas||Charles Roaches||Russell Grant||M||2009-05||Gonzales municipal||2011-02||Absentee/mail||Voter intimidation/coercion||Ballot tampering||4||4||Charles Roaches was indicted in February 2011 on 4 counts of voter fraud for providing false information on an application for early voting in the May 2009 Gonzales City Council election, along with Russell Grant, indicted on 10 counts. Dozens of Gonzales citizens said then-candidates Grant and Roaches gave them misleading information and possibly tampered with their mail-in ballot applications. City Voting Officer Jean Collins said 83 of 102 mail-in ballot applications received listed "disability" as the reason for voting by mail. Several voters named on the applications contended they are not disabled and never voted by mail. In February 2010, Grant admitted to “voter misconduct” and agreed to resign his District 2 council seat, abstain from public office, and cooperate with authorities in the voter fraud investigation. Both Grant and Roaches entered pretrial diversion.||Pre-Trial Intervention||http://www.gonzalesinquirer.com/news/russell-grant-given-second-chance/article_0...||http://www.gonzalesinquirer.com/news/grant-resigns-seat-from-council-makes-deal-...|

|New Jersey||Spencer Robbins||M||2010||Woodbridge school board, General||D||2014-02||Ineligible district voting||2||22||Spencer Robbins, a municipal judge in Woodbridge, Sayreville and South Plainfield, was charged in 2013 with two counts of third-degree voter fraud for voting in two 2010 elections in Woodbridge, where he had a law office, rather than in Chatham, where he lived. Robbins was a resident of Chatham when he voted in a Woodbridge school election on April 20, 2010, and in a general election in Woodbridge on November 2, 2010. The Middlesex County Board of Elections ruled in 2011 that Robbins, a registered Democrat, had been improperly voting in Woodbridge, using his Amboy Avenue legal office as his address. A month earler, a Home News Tribune investigation found that Robbins had voted in 22 elections and Democratic primaries in Woodbridge since 1998, even though he his home was in Chatham Township since 1995. The court accepted Robbins into Pre-Trial Intervention.||Pre-Trial Intervention||http://www.nj.com/middlesex/index.ssf/2014/03/judge_charged_with_voter_fraud_for...||http://www.mycentraljersey.com/story/news/local/middlesex-county/2014/11/07/vote...|
