A write-in candidate for trustee defeated the incumbent by a two-vote margin. Ellsworth was accused along with 50 other people in Utah's Daggett County, in connection with a 2006 election for sheriff. All 51 were accused of fraudulent registration, and many were accused of living outside the county but registering to vote within the county. |Wisconsin||Dan Shansky||M||2012-06||Recall||Ineligible district voting||1||Dan Shansky left Wisconsin in March 2012 to take a job with a union in California, but still cast a ballot in Wisconsin's June 5, 2012 recall election. The community organizer, who listed the Milwaukee-based Community Action Now as a recent employer, was heavily involved in the protest and recall movement in Wisconsin. The government roll shows Shansky applying for absentee ballots for both the recall’s primary and general elections.
