Texas Diana Balderas Castaneda Francisco “Frankie” Garcia Rebecca Gonzalez Guadalupe Escamilla F 2012-11 Donna ISD school board D 2014-01 Vote buying (federal) 1 10 Diana Balderas Castaneda was one of three politiqueras who pleaded* guilty to federal vote-buying charges stemming from the November 2012 Donna school board election. The women gave residents cash, drugs, beer and cigarettes, which the candidates they worked for and their campaign managers would give them for that purpose, In exchange for their votes in the 2012 primary and general elections. Castaneda admitted bribing about 10 voters, and on a few occasions, she drove voters to buy drugs after they voted. Oklahoma Unnamed Murray County voter 2016 Registration fraud Oklahoma's State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a possible case of voter registration fraud in Murray County. The Murray County District Attorney's Office requested the probe in May 2016. State Election Board spokesman Bryan Dean says his agency and employees are cooperating fully with the investigation. Kansas Johnson County - Name Unknown 2008 Registration Fraud Impersonation 1 Individual that was not registered to vote found address in poll book and used that address to register and to vote. Indiana Michael Lopez M 2003 East Chicago Democratic mayoral primary D 2005 Ineligible district voting 4 Michael Lopez was charged as part of a fraud case brought by the Lake County Joint Voter Task Force that ultimately overturned the result of the 2003 East Chicago Democratic mayoral primary. Son of contractor and "political insider" Mickey Lopez and brother of Christopher Lopez. Charged with 3 counts voting in other precinct and 1 count unauthorized entries at polls.
