Blankenship of Powhatan was charged with voter fraud for voting more than once in the 2015 General Election, a Class 6 felony. Connecticut Mary Oleynick (former member of Democratic Town Committee) F D Absentee/Mail Illegal Assistance Oleynick, a campaign volunteer, was accused of violating procedures for assisting people with absentee ballots and applications. The accusations were raised by a candidate who complained that fraud had taken place because more people voted absentee than usual. Received a civil penalty of $5,000. Lost eligibility for certain election jobs. Ordered to resign from the Democratic Town Committee. Agreed not to solicit or assist with absentee ballots in the future.
Illinois 2016-11 General Absentee/Mail Vote buying Kankakee officials announced an investigation into voter fraud, including allegations that “individuals from Chicago” were offering gifts in exchange for votes, and prompting a visit by the top federal attorney for central Illinois and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Illinois Attorney General’s office is also “actively monitoring” the situation. The probe is centered on a hotly contested race between Democratic State Rep. Kate Cloonen and her Republican challenger Lindsay Parkhurst. Texas Unknown impersonator F 2006 Impersonation 1 Linda Kay Hill, died Aug. 2, 2006, of a heart attack. Washington Cheryl Bersch F 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Ohio Rachelle Zimmerman F 2007-01 Petition Fraud 3 Rachelle Zimmerman was charged with violations of statutes 3599.14 and 2913.31, which pertain to circulating fraudulent petitions and signature forgery respectively. Pleaded guilty to prohibitions relating to petitions or declarations (voter fraud).
